Delivering Leadership in BC's Building Electrification Future

We are BC’s network of building electrification practitioners. B2E is a broad coalition working together to electrify buildings in BC to reduce their climate impacts and reliance on fossil fuels.

B2E Need-To-Know

Our purpose is to create opportunities for multiple stakeholders to work collaboratively to identify and address barriers to electrification and take actions that contribute to a meaningful and equitable market shift to decarbonizing BC’s building sector.

Our goal is to advance high-efficiency electric space conditioning and water heating by:

1

Building demand

2

Increasing the value of electrification

3

Fostering supportive policy alignment

4

Boosting the number of skilled workers

5

Creating robust and responsive supply chains

BCRA programs will help participants access available rebates and financing, but the initiative does not provide direct capital project funding.

The BCRA support aligns and connects with BC Hydro programs, such as the recently launched MURB Retrofit Program in partnership with the Province, Solar & Battery Program, and other offers to support multi-family buildings.
