Anaïs Bénard
Communications and Marketing Specialist
Anaïs Bénard is a bilingual communications professional with over a decade of experience spanning start-ups, global corporations, and the non-profit sector.
Originally from France, she relocated to Vancouver three years ago, bringing with her a passion for storytelling and international collaboration. One of her most formative roles was at Carrier, a global leader in climate and energy solutions, where she led strategic communications for product launches and international campaigns.
Since moving to Canada, Anaïs has worked in the non-profit sector, most recently leading province-wide initiatives supporting newcomer communities at AMSSA. She holds a Master’s degree in International Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications.
As the Communications & Marketing Specialist at the Zero Emissions Innovation Centre, Anaïs leads communications for the BC Retrofit Accelerator and Strata Energy Advisor programs.
She is also an actress and theatre teacher, an avid traveller, and loves exploring the outdoors — especially skiing and biking across beautiful British Columbia.
